Developer Terms of Use
These Terms govern your access to and use of the Telegram Broadcast Application
Last updated: November 30, 2025
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Telegram Broadcast Application ("App" or "Service"). By registering or using the Service, you ("Developer") agree to these Terms.
1. Nature of the Service
The Service allows developers to connect their Telegram bots and send broadcast messages to their users.
2. Access and Authentication
The Service supports multiple authentication methods:
- New Users: Email and password authentication
- Existing Users:
- Telegram authentication widget (OAuth)
- Optional: Set email and password in account settings for additional login method
- API Access: API key authentication for developers
Password reset functionality is available via email for accounts with email configured.
3. Information Collected
- Developer Data: Telegram ID, username, first name, last name, email address, API key, password, and related profile data.
- Bot Data: Bot ID, bot name, bot tokens, and related bot data are stored in the database in encrypted form for background broadcasts and other tasks performed, and may temporarily held in encrypted sessions for real-time use during user interactions
- End-User Data: Telegram ID, first name, username, language code, and related user data of users who interact with your bot, stored in the database to enable broadcasts.
4. Developer Responsibilities
- You are responsible for the content of all broadcasts sent via your bot.
- You must not use the Service for spam, abuse, harassment, or illegal purposes.
- The system will automatically notify your bot users that their data will be collected during the first broadcast to that user. No additional notification is required from you.
5. Use of Data
- Developer and bot data are used to authenticate you and operate the Service.
- End-user data is used exclusively for broadcasting.
- Bot tokens are stored in the database in encrypted form for background broadcasts, and are temporarily held in encrypted sessions for real-time use during user interactions.
6. Free Service and Platform Messages
The Service is free to use. We reserve the right to send platform-wide broadcast messages (such as updates, important notices, or announcements) to all connected users.
7. Security
- Passwords and tokens are stored using secure encryption.
- We take industry-standard steps to protect data, but no system is 100% secure.
8. Restrictions
- You may not hack, misuse, or interfere with the Service.
- You may not access or attempt to access bots or users that are not yours.
- You may not resell or redistribute the Service without written consent.
9. Broadcasts and Content
You are responsible for all content broadcasted using your bot. We are not responsible for any messages sent by a user, including spam, and you agree to not hold us liable for such content. To ensure system stability and quality, all broadcasts are limited to a maximum of 1,000 subscribers. However, if you have more than 1,000 subscribers, only 1,000 will receive the broadcast. Occasionally, broadcasts may also be sent to fewer than 1,000 subscribers depending on system factors.
The Service includes an anti-filtering system on broadcasts to help ensure message delivery. You agree not to misuse or attempt to bypass this system.
By using your bot on our platform, you acknowledge and agree that your users' continued use of the bot constitutes their acceptance of our User Terms of Use and User Privacy Policy. We will send a platform-wide message to all users informing them of this policy.
10. Suspension and Termination
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to:
- Ban or suspend developer accounts that violate these Terms.
- Delete bots, accounts, or broadcasts that are abusive, harmful, or illegal.
- Remove stored data if required by law, security concerns, or misuse.
- Restrict or disable broadcast access without prior notice.
10. Data Export
Developers may export subscriber lists in CSV, JSON or EXCEL format containing the following user data:
- Telegram User ID
- First Name
- Username
- Language Code
- Joined Date
Exported data may only be used for legitimate broadcasting purposes and must be handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws. Developers are responsible for securing exported data and may not sell, share, or misuse subscriber information.
11. API Usage
Developers using the official BotBroad API must comply with all authentication, rate limit, and usage guidelines outlined in the BotBroad API Policy. This includes restrictions on key sharing, content rules, and security requirements. Misuse may result in suspension or termination of API access.
