Security, usage, and developer responsibilities for the BotBroad API
Last updated: November 30, 2025
This Developer API Policy governs the use of the BotBroad Developer API provided at Api Docs. By using the API, you agree to comply with this Policy and all applicable terms of service and security requirements.
1. Overview
The BotBroad API enables verified bot owners to manage Telegram bots, perform secure broadcasts, and automate bot-based communication. This API is intended strictly for authorized use by registered BotBroad developers. BotBroad is a product of FlashCom, ensuring enterprise-level security and compliance.
2. Authentication & Access
- Every request must include a valid
X-API-Keyheader assigned to your BotBroad developer account. - API keys are personal, non-transferable, and linked to your Telegram developer identity.
- Sharing or requesting another user's API key or Bot Token is strictly prohibited.
- BotBroad reserves the right to suspend any account found misusing API credentials.
3. Security & Data Handling
- All API requests must be made via HTTPS. Unencrypted requests will be rejected.
- Bot tokens and API keys are securely encrypted before being stored.
- Rate limits, IP monitoring, and advanced logging are enforced to prevent abuse.
- The API logs all access attempts and security anomalies for audit purposes.
- Never expose your Bot Token or API Key in public repositories, bots, or shared code.
4. Developer Responsibilities
- Developers may only broadcast messages to Telegram bots they personally own and have registered under their BotBroad account.
- Do not request, collect, or use another user’s Bot Token or BotBroad API key for any activity or integration involving the BotBroad system.
- Each developer must use only their own verified Bot Token and API key when accessing or using the BotBroad API.
- Developers are fully responsible for the content they broadcast and must ensure it complies with Telegram’s policies, BotBroad’s guidelines, and all applicable laws.
- Any misuse of the BotBroad API, including spam, abuse, or unauthorized control of other users’ bots, will result in immediate suspension or termination and may lead to legal action.
5. Fair Usage & Rate Limits
The BotBroad API enforces strict rate and broadcast limits to maintain stability, prevent abuse, and ensure fair use across all developers.
- Up to 200 requests per 2 minutes per session are allowed.
- A maximum of 30 user actions per 5 minutes per Telegram user.
- Each bot can create up to 20 broadcast jobs per day.
These limits are automatically monitored and enforced by the BotBroad system. When limits are exceeded, API access may be temporarily throttled or suspended to protect service stability.
In cases of persistent or severe misuse — such as spam, system exploitation, or illegal content distribution — BotBroad reserves the right to disable API access for the affected account or bot and, if necessary, report the offending bot to Telegram for further action.
6. Content Moderation
All messages sent via the API are automatically checked through the FlashCom moderation system. Broadcasts containing harmful, explicit, or illegal content will be blocked and logged as a security event.
7. Data Protection & Compliance
All developer, bot, and related API data are handled in accordance with the Developer Privacy Policy and GDPR Policy. The API transmits and stores data only as necessary for operational functionality, authentication, and security monitoring.
8. Prohibited Actions
- Requesting or storing API keys or bot tokens of other users
- Attempting to reverse-engineer, bypass, or overload the BotBroad infrastructure
- Sending unsolicited or bulk messages that violate Telegram’s rules
- Creating fake or duplicate developer accounts
9. Liability & Enforcement
Developers are solely responsible for all actions and content transmitted through their API credentials. BotBroad may suspend or revoke access without notice for any violation of this policy. Repeated or severe violations may result in permanent bans or legal action.
10. Documentation & Support
Full technical documentation and integration examples are available at Api Docs.
